This is by far the worst digital image processing book i have ever seen

This is by far the worst digital image processing book i have ever seen, its not for undergraduates because the description is so vague and lack of details, its not for professionals either because it doesn't cover anything more than the basics. Basically this is a partial copy of matlab image processing toolbox help documentation. Not impressed. :) i am new to image processing and i can write down soemthing better than this. Lazy lazy work.

Surprisingly the Right Book

I was so surprised to find this book for such an inexpensive price. From the original publishing company, it is impossible to find it for under $100, so when I told my professor I had found it for an extremely low price, she didn't believe I had found the right book. She thought it was the workbook or something. Lo and behold when it came it was the exact book I needed, just by a different publisher. Sure, it has a different cover, but the content and pagination are the same, so I am having no problems in class. As a poor college student, I would recommend buying this version. You get the same book for less money leaving both you and your bank account happy.

The authors do so in a methodical, scholarly manner that provides a thorough, in-depth look at how the English language (a member of the Indo-European family of languages) developed and changed over time in the context of social, religious, political and military, and economic events in English history.

At the end of each chapter is an extensive bibliography that will provide interested readers with numerous leads to additional and supplemental reading materials. The book is scholarly and academic, and not suitable for readers with only a casual interest in the history of the English language. Anyone studying the history of the English language for the first time should consider looking at more basic, introductory publications before trying this book.

Needed this book for my history and structure of the English language class. It is a bit dry at times, but for the most part the book is a good read and it is interesting to learn about how much our language has changed through the years.
